Delete your SALUNOTE data

SALUNOTE has no account. What you enter stays on your phone, so almost everything is deleted on your phone, by you, whenever you like. A few things can reach our server, and only when you choose to send them. This page explains how each one is deleted and what, if anything, is kept.

On your phone

  • Settings → Your data → Erase all data deletes everything the app holds on this phone: your profile, plan, entries, injection notes, lab results and reminders. Then it takes you back to the start. It also ends your links to professionals and removes their keys from the phone.
  • Uninstalling the app deletes its data on the phone as well.

We hold no copy of what you enter, so there is nothing to ask us for here.

What may be on our server, and how it is deleted

Only four things can ever reach us, and each one only because you chose to send it. Here is how to delete each one, and what stays behind.

  • Error reports

    Up to 12 months

    Sent only when you agreed to send a report after something went wrong in the app.

    Ask us by email, with your code. How to ask us
    What stays, and for how long
    If you don't ask, we delete them three months after the problem is fixed, and after twelve months at the latest.

  • A link to a professional

    90 days

    Made when you scan a professional's QR code.

    To delete it
    Unlink them in the app: Settings → My professionals.
    What stays, and for how long
    The link's secret is erased at once. A short record that the link existed (a label, never your name, plus when it was made and ended) stays for 90 days in our security log, then it is deleted.

  • Summaries you sent

    Up to 12 months

    Sent to a professional you linked, and encrypted on your phone before they leave it.

    To delete it
    Unlink that professional in the app.
    What stays, and for how long
    Summaries they haven't opened are withdrawn at once. One they already opened stays with them, like a paper copy you handed over. We can't read either. Anything left is deleted after twelve months at the latest.

  • Receipts for plans

    30 days

    A note that your phone collected a plan a professional sent you.

    To delete it
    Nothing to do.
    What stays, and for how long
    Deleted after 30 days.

Ask us to delete your error reports

  1. In the app, open Settings → My profile and copy Your code (it starts with SN-).
  2. Email contact@salunote.ch with the subject "Delete my data" and paste your code.
  3. We erase every error report that carries that code and reply to confirm, within 30 days.

Your code is the only way we can find your reports. Error reports carry no name, email address or phone number. We use your email only to answer you.
