Website & Doctor-Portal Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-08-13 · Applies to: this website and its doctor portal (the SALUNOTE app has its own terms — see the app terms of use).
Who we are
The Hyrcan Bio Data Team operates this website and the doctor portal that sits behind it. Questions: contact@salunote.ch.
What this website is
This site presents the SALUNOTE app, registers clinicians for the doctor portal, and receives summaries that patients choose to send to their own clinician. Like the app, it is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice or interpret anyone's health data. Nothing published here is a substitute for a clinician's own judgement.
Using the public pages
The public pages are free to read and to link to. The text, images, and design are ours; please do not copy them wholesale into another product, and do not scrape, mirror, or automate against the site in a way that degrades it for other people.
The doctor portal — who may register, and what registering means today
The portal is not yet in service. In this phase, registering records your interest in working with us when it opens — it does not create a working account, and no patient information reaches you through us.
Registration is open to clinicians who are licensed to practise where they work, and who enter their own name, licence number and licence country. We ask for the licence details now so that verification can happen without coming back to you later. When the portal opens we verify each registration by hand before an account is opened, and we may decline or revoke an account without giving a reason — most often because we could not confirm a licence.
Your portal account
Your account is personal. Keep your passphrase and your second factor to yourself, do not share a login with colleagues or staff, and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
Your personal QR code and link identify you to your own patients. Print them, display them in your practice, share them with your patients — but do not resell them or pass them to another clinician to use as their own.
Reports patients send you — Phase 2
This does not happen yet. The app is on-device only, the routes that would receive a report are switched off, and nothing of the kind is stored on this site today. The terms below describe how it will work when the feature ships, so you know what you would be agreeing to before it does.
A patient may choose to send you a summary from the app. It arrives under a pseudonymous label the patient picked; we never learn who they are, and we do not open, read, analyse, or annotate what arrives. That means:
- deciding what a summary means for a given patient is your professional judgement, not ours, and the summary is only as accurate as what the patient entered;
- you are the controller of any copy you download into your own systems, and your own professional and data-protection obligations apply to it;
- reports are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically. If you need a copy for the patient's record, download it before then.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to reach another clinician's account or reports, probe or circumvent the sign-in and access-code controls, upload anything that is not a patient summary, or use the portal to send marketing to patients. We may suspend an account immediately where we see any of this.
Availability
The site and the portal are provided free of charge and as they are. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw any part of them — including the portal itself — with reasonable notice where we can give it.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Hyrcan Bio Data Team is not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or the portal. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Privacy
What we process, why, and for how long is set out in the website & portal privacy notice. Your rights under Swiss FADP and the GDPR are described there.
Changes
Material changes to these terms are published here before they take effect. Continuing to use the site or the portal after that means you accept them.
Your rights where you live
Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
